Putting nutrition back into the hands of the enteral feed patient and caregiver

Introducing consumable medical products with global healthcare and responsible manufacturing in mind. Founded by a three-time, near thirty-year cancer survivor experienced in industrial design. The long-term effects of her treatments led to DYSPHAGIA, the inability to swallow. Feed Bag Co. offers feeding bags to patients and caregivers looking to enjoy the most basic of human needs: nutrition.

Dysphagia affects 1 in 25 people* (15 million) in the US market with an annual growth rate of 6.9%**. Enteral feed patients spend up to 24 hours per day connected to a feeding tube. According to Stanford Healthcare one of the most common complications of tube feeding is, ‘obstruction’ in the bag causing interruptions to the patient’s feed. Feed Bag Co. offers an updated bag which does not interrupt the flow of nutrients. Our product allows non-formula food to enter the enteral feed, directly into the stomach of patients dependent on a PEG or NG feeding tube. Patients will no longer be limited to a formula diet. Nutritional supplements will be within reach again.

We have brought this project up through the regulatory process through MVP and regulatory framework, as well as the onboarding of sustainably manufactured plastic companies meant to become an add on to an existing feeding bag product.

The North American segment holds the largest market share due to a high adoption of enteral feeding devices*:

  • The increasing prevalence of chronic diseases

  • A shift from parenteral (I.V.) to enteral (feeding tube) feeding
